Q: What are the stages in producing a video?

A: Pre-Production
Planning meetings to decide the funds available for the project, the possibilities, your target audience and the objective of the video.

Script Writing
This really is part of the pre-production too, and you’ll see why. Script writing is the creative part where we study your company's materials and ideas and get back to you with a draft script. You will then read over the script – perhaps with other personnel and make notes/alterations. We can then either meet or agree over phone/email or make further adjustments.

Production
After a final shooting script is approved, shooting and perhaps re-shooting begins. We try to make this as stressless as possible as it all adds to a more pleasing production. Production may require interviews on camera or off camera (audio or notation). Even at this stage, there may be final editing on the script. Graphics will have also been prepared. So once all of this has been completed, we enter into the editing stage.

Narrative
Often, either before or during the editing stage, we will produce of voice-over either using your own talent or a professional voice artist.

Editing Stage
All video footage is brought onto our broadcast editing suites for editing. We use agreed editing script to craft a rough draft of the edited video. We may edit several versions of program. Music & the voice-over will be included.

DVD Authoring
After program has been approved, we begin authoring a DVD master which includes creating menus, chapters, graphics, buttons and transitions. At this stage, we can also offer sub-titles to be embedded in the video DVD. In order to do this, we make a transcript of the entire video and make the sub-titles easily understood. When you approve the master, DVD discs are either duplicated or replicated, based on your needs. (or other format such as Blue-Ray).
